Fatih Usta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at Gebze Technical University, Türkiye. He received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Aeronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. He conducted research at the University of Bristol, UK, and the University of Louisville, USA, focusing on advanced materials and architected structures. His research interests include metamaterials, auxetic structures, composite sandwich panels, additive manufacturing, impact dynamics, and structural optimization. His work focuses on the design and mechanical characterization of advanced cellular and multifunctional structures for engineering applications.
