Jochen WILD, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Aerodynamics and Flow Technology of the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V. - DLR), earned his doctoral degree (Dr.-Ing.) at the Technische Universität (TU) Braunschweig in May 2001 and was habilitated (venia legendi) by the same university in May 2021.

He was involved in high-lift design activities with the large European projects within CleanSky, CleanSky 2 and CleanAviation. He teaches High-Lift Aerodynamics at the TU Braunschweig and Aerodynamics at the Ostfalia Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften [Institute of Technology]. He is Associate Editor for the CEAS Aeronautical Journal and serves as reviewer for a number of scientific journals. He has contributed to 75 peer reviewed publications in journals and books and more than 100 conference contributions. He published the „High-Lift Aerodynamics“ book (Routledge / CRC, 2022) and contributed the high-lift chapter to the German „Handbuch Luftfahrzeugtechnik“ ([Handbook of Aircraft Technology], Hanser, 2014). |
